How to bless Israel and Jews in practical ways

Genesis 12:1 The LORD had said to Abram...I will bless those
who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.
Psalm 37:22 Those blessed by the Lord shall inherit the earth,
but those cursed by him shall die.

There are of course many ways to bless Israel apart from those listed below, and readers are invited to inform us of more ways to do so, via Feedback  We would like to suggest the following ways:

1. Churches: you are commanded to pray for two locations, your own and Jerusalem! Psalm 122:6. It's a command. Israel should be included in any church's agenda due to its importance to God.
   "For Zion's sake I will not rest! (Isaiah 62:1). This is God speaking! If we say we love God, that is the God of Israel, what is important to him should also be important to us!
2. By supporting organizations that serve Israel and Jews and Jewish interest in Israel and abroad, like the following at http://zionsake.tripod.com/sites.html

3. By getting to know the God of  Israel's heart and plans for Israel and the Jewish people to be able to show solidarity with his priorities. As a guideline, see "Letters to the Media, Organizations, etc." listed among Zionsake's Publications, for instance, "Churches need to share God's Political Agenda for Israel and the Jews".
4. By  standing on biblical principals concerning the division of the land of Israel and Jerusalem the nations are trying to enforce on the Israelis. It is ironic that people in Israel who stand on biblical stipulations about the land are being branded as rightwing. In the time of the Rabin government those who didn't want to compromise on biblical promises about the land were virtually regarded to be committing treason against the state. It is incredible in view of the existence of clear biblical guidelines like Joel 3:2 I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered My people among the nations and divided up My land.

5. By Trying to understand the ways Israel is affected by world and Middle East politics as a guideline to knowing how to pray for the land. Studying STRATFOR's Global Intelligence Red Alert Updates can be recommended for this purpose. See for instance their Forecast for Second Quarter 1998.
6. By getting to know in what ways Islam and streams thereof pose a threat to Israel and other nations and alerting the world about it. Many websites deal with this problem, among which, material by the following scholars:

   Reasons why the God of Israel and the God of Islam cannot be the same God. By Philip Blom.
   The necessity to take note of this call is also illustrated by the report, HAJ ENDS WITH CALLS FOR JIHAD AGAINST ISRAEL, AMERICA by the Middle East Intelligence Digest of April 8, 1998.
7. Support Israeli industry and products. Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu set a good example in his "Call Upon Israelis to Buy Local" reported by IINS News Service -Israel-3/10 /1998:
   With the upcoming Purim Holiday approaching at the end of the week, former Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu has called upon all Israelis to be certain to purchase wines, chocolates and other goods produced in Israel. In keeping with the Purim custom of distributing sweets, wines and other treats to one another, the former chief rabbi stated that by purchasing imported items over locally produced goods, we are taking the bread out of the mouths of our own children.
   
   Rabbi Eliyahu emphasized that the local products maintain a high standard of kosher, and by supporting ourselves, we will help to avoid additional job layoffs and unemployment.
   Technologically Israel is one of the most advanced countries of the world and high-tech accounts for most of her exports. Even Intel has got a manufacturing plant there, which isn't surprising, seeing its founder, Andy Grove is a Jew. Why therefore not start looking in Israel for your hightech needs, even in the biological field.
8. Boycott those who curse (slander, wrongly criticise) Israel, or at least reprimand those who misrepresent facts about Israel, like CNN. See: Reckless Anti-Israel Bias at CNN. By CAMERA, the media monitoring organization.
